The opportunity to get a Missouri SCV Logo License plate is here! This is important for our division and camps for two reasons! One: This will help promote and increase awareness of our Heritage and all the good things the SCV does to honor our Ancestors. And you’ll look good with your SCV tag on your vehicle! Two: This is potentially a huge fundraiser for our division and camps. Here’s why. Once the tag is set up and in place, it has to be available to anyone in the State who may want one. How many rebel flags do you see on cars and trucks as you drive around. I see quit a few! I think there could easily be 1000 to 5000 guys in this state of 20 million, who would think, “Cool, a Rebel Flag license plate, I want that”. That’s where the money comes in. That guy has to send our division $25 for the right to buy the tag, we send him back a paid receipt to give to the license bureau. We keep the $25! Multiply $25 by 1000, 2000, 5000. It’s a ton of money! That’s why you see these specialty tags for various groups out there, it’s a fund raiser for that particular organization. Is your camp tired of being broke? Would you like to have money so your camp could buy private land to put monuments and flag plaza’s on? I really think this is our financial answer. I could be wrong, but we’ll never know unless we make a valid attempt to make this happen. This tag could be what puts us on the map financially. We need money to do the things we need to do. The division and camps will work out a Revenue Sharing plan, and all will benefit from the proceeds the division takes in off the tags. What do we have to do to make this happen? The state requires that we submit at least 200 applications and $5,000 to get this set up. Don’t let the $5,000 scare you. We hope that you can donate $25 towards that. $25 times 200 guys equals $5,000. In the big picture of life, $25 is not huge, and if you’re committed to the cause, there’s no better way to help than by making that donation. The 200 breaks down to about 16 guys per camp. But we don’t want any money now! What we need is your name on a list! We need to assemble a list to make sure we can get the required 200 names. If we get the 200 names, then we’ll have you fill out the application the state wants. At that time we hope you can chip in $25 for each tag you’ll want towards the $5000 . You can tag more than one car if you want, that gets us to the 200 tag minimum that much quicker. Act now by filling out the form below and returning it. Don’t wait!
